of many in the city that requires that the driver when seeing the signal work out some sort of rational for what he or she should do. As we sat talking about this phenomena it was pointed out that in North Winnipeg there is even a similar sign at an intersection that has in place of the straight through arrow a custom made lens with a symbol indicating a "U" turn. It is believed that this "U" turn signal may be the only one in the world. So the problem remains what does one do when presented with conflicting information? In one case one of our family members made a turn in such an intersection as this one and was given a ticket. However, and I am sorry I do not have a picture of the sign my mouth engaged when I saw it and I did not get the camera up to record the moment but "Dairy Queen" is now running an advertisement for a product it calls "Frozen Hot Chocolate". Can you imagine "hot ice cold beer", if you can, you would do just fine driving in Winnipeg.
