This crow and I were equally surprised to see the extent of this spring snow fall. Weather reports on Friday described the system as a "Colorado" disturbance but essential it was just a very wet low pressure area that came into contact with a well established but cool arctic airmass over Southern Manitoba. As we drove East Friday afternoon the skies darkened East of Brandon and as close as fifteen kilometers West of the city there was only a light skiff of snow on the ground so that it appeared that the precipitation was concentrated pretty much on the city and East of it and fell late Thursday afternoon. It was credible enough though as i found myself whistling Christmas Carols.
