The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal reversed the lower court ruling and returned the building to the Tisdale School Division operated school with its duly elected local board. So the building above and to the right is used by the 80% of the students in the community who continue to be a part of this school. The purely Francophone faction have their children attending school in the old convent building seen below. This is a temporary situation until their portable classrooms arrive to provide them with a more appropriate school setting. Though outsides were only aware of the tensions in the community the pressure has been working its way to the surface for several years and parents report that it has been difficult for the past two years as the situation became more and more acute
