While waiting to catch a moving picture of a big truck I shot a short ten minute video of the intersection of highways 3 and 35. That video is pretty revealing and is part of this story.

To us this 94 wheelled giant is a remarkable sight but it is just everyday stuff for the Northfield Minnesota trucking company. This sort of thing is what Perkins does, in a rather big way.

Radio, televsion and the news papers all have focused on this event today and at coffee it was the topic of conversation for all. As a part of NATO Canada is involved in the war in Afghanistan and a war that was begun as a public relations exercise involving the 9/11 attack now it appears it is a war that can not be won militarily and we need to consider why this war and the one in Iraq were begun and why they continue.

Sunday Fox news tried an ambush on Bill Clinton blaming him for the Bush administration's failure to be prepared for the 9/11 attack. Mr. deSantis points out that the real issue was not Clinton but Bush doing worse than nothing.
