Tisdale: It was back on the 20th of September that the basement was dug for this house on Forester Crescent but an RTM is sitting in place on that basement.

Saskatoon: This week's report fills us in on a big event in Porcupine Plain and the hard community work of some of its citizens. The Crawfords were out to a craft show and they have a new Steadman painting on the wall.

Tisdale: Not only is the sidewalk sloped but it is left covered with snow and ice so that even young people find it treacherous let alone the large Tisdale population of seniors who daily have to contend with a hazard that could easily be remedied.

Tisdale/Regina: Using Windows Media player Ken has put together a slideshow of images created using the heat portion of the light spectrum. These very dramatic images were created using a Canon G2 camera and most were shot in Regina's Wascana park near the legislative buildings.

Tisdale: That snow level is piling up in our back yard and with the amount that fell and blew around last night most of the streets are looking pretty tough as well. Is this going to be a bad winter, the question is, compared to what?

Tisdale: Many states and now some provinces are putting up cameras to monitor their highways. The road from Prince Albert to LaRonge is long and lonely without services most of the way so it is impressive to see a web cam in operation on this highway.

Grimshaw, Alberta: When did the conflict in Afghanistan become our war. Mr. Strachan wonders when that happened and he is concerned about the morality of First Nations people enticed into the Canadian Armed Forces for some dubious reasons.

Tisdale: From the steam it looked like the town had a water break and CP decided to replace the crossing. Meanwhile snow removal continues as Tisdale continues to be a place of ongoing excavation.

Niagara Falls: Canadian and American leaders have denied and ridiculed suggestions that there is a plan in place to built a continental unifying transportation system. It is a major issue in the on going American Presidential election and the arguments they are using related to disclosures by the governments of Alberta and Manitoba.
