Kipling: There are just no superlatives sufficient to cover the drama and power of massive thunderstorms like those that swept over the prairies this past weekend. The tail end of the system rattled its way past Kipling Saturday evening and the experience was overwhelming.

Tisdale: Shamrock Auto recycling has shut down and the property sold. Its hard to say if we are seeing retraction in Tisdale's business community as some businesses go out of operation while at the same time the local economy seems to be strong and doing well.
Abdication of responsibilities as Prime Minister

Victoria, B.C.: The prime minister's excuse for not repatriating the young man who has been in prison and tortured by the Americans since he was a boy is simply unacceptable. He has cheapened our citizenship and made us complicit in a travesty that is morally and legally inappropriate. Canadians do not or should not act in this manner.
