Van fails to make it home from Winnipeg

Glossop Manitoba: Holiday travel is always a matter of chance taking and driving new or twelve year old vehicles seems to make no difference when it comes to mechanical failure. Yesterday afternoon on our way home from Winnipeg the Windstar's transmission departed to that great mechanical wasteland in the sky.

Tisdale: The basement was dug April 8th and a wood basement constructed but no development for most of the summer. Now a new house sits on the basement of the site where a house was consumed in fire last year.

This is not state of the art agriculture but the way a family can and often does cope with the needs on an organic small farm in rural Saskatchewan.
