Tisdale: The election is unlikely to clear up the uncertainty that faces us all as the economic woes from the United States are going to affect the whole world, probably more so in countries like Canada, Japan and China which depend on exports to the crumbling US market. But there is more than the economy to have doubts about, this is October.
