Tisdale: It looks like the first housing start of this new year is about to get underway. A lot on 95th street was cleared of snow today and the big Chupa track hoe was brought over to begin work then taken away to start the project on a new day.

Saskatoon: The renovations to the Crawford house are moving right along. They have had some company and Gerald celebrates the exploits of one of Canada's great athletes, Colette Bourgonje from Porcupine Plain. The man spends so much time going to coffee its a wonder he has time to get his report together.

Tisdale: It may still be winter but Tisdale's construction season is well underway as natural gas mains are snaked into the back alleys of Tisdale's newest housing area, only laid out as a street in the fall of 2008.

Victoria British Columbia: The Government of Canada has been in the hands of Stephen Harper for three years and this government has concentrated all of its efforts on gettting and keeping power while spending away a surplus budget situation and making itself unprepared for hard times which have come along even though only months ago denied it was happening.

Tisdale: In the late 40s Bombardier built what up to then was the ultimate cabin type snow machine. There are some still in working condition but here is the new ultimate snow machine. The North Dakota made SnoBear.

Niagara Falls Ontario: Ih his great rush to fill the senate seats the Prime Minister appointed some interesting members to the Senate. Certainly one of the most interesting is a 34 year old aboriginal leader who distinguished himself as all but destroying the credibility of his organisation. Odd choice because had he chose to run as an MP his history and tainted past would make him ineligible for running as a Conservative.

Tisdale: Thursday is my morning to go out for breakfast but today it was without guilt as we have now been informed that a couple of eggs a day are good for you. Breakfasts are available in Tisdale at A&W and Robin's Donuts but this story focuses on the quality breakfasts at The Great Wall Restaurant and Gus' Greek Ribs.

Tisdale: A chubby bunch of Bohemian Waxwings paid yet another visit to our yard this morning to do a little frozen berry picking. But this year they were forced to do their digestion and depositing elsewhere.
