Tisdale: Every spring is a time of anticipation but it seems that the spring of 2009 was special and needed more than other years. Be it the first robin or just warm enough not to require parka and gloves, this one is appreciated.
Track and field season

Tisdale: Within a month the Track Meets will have been held and the season will be over for another year. It is difficult in Canada to prepare for competition with such a short season.

Tisdale: Using a process known as "slipform" the contractor Todd & Sargent is building a 340,000 bushel storage facility that will merge with the storage already in place at the Parrish & Heimbecker Tisdale terminal.
