This process of renewal leaves a lot to be undesired. The wreckage of the TUCs building and now the GT Mechanical building are being deposited at the town landfill site where further sorting is taking place and the flamable material is being burned. From a practical standpoint it seems like the most efficient and economical means of disposing of these two destroyed buildings. Yet somehow in this era when we are more and more becoming aware of the dangers of |

more and more hydrocarbons into the air that surrounds and sustains this planet this just doesn't quite seem right. Realising how radical this must seem, but for the money spent to demolish and transport the remains of these buildings, workers could have been hired to dismantle, salvage, and sort these buildings for the same cost with the added reward of having provided them with meaningful work and income, while at the same time reducing the atmospheric polution and waste of burning material and wasting the energy from the combustion. |
