Weather slows the assembly of house nine

FTLComm - Tisdale - Wednesday, October 9, 2002
This house got underway on Friday September 13 and we showed you the basement on the following Monday. The footings were put in the next day and since then we have not shown you how things are going.

This is how things looked on Wednesday, September 25 with the basement assembled and work progressing on laying on the composite "I" beam flooring.

The image at the top of the page gives you some idea of this house's lay out. These pictures were

snapped with the camera and do not give as much detail as a drawing like this contains.

On Friday, October 4 the walls were up and the work begun to put the piles in for the garage foundation that will go in front of the house similar to house eight.

The house continues to be assembled but the weather really slowed the process as we have had cold temperatures and even snow.

This is how the back of the site looked like on last Friday.

At he bottom of the page is how it looks today as carpenters are putting up the interior walls. One interesting feature on this home is the integrated fireplace which can be seen in the plans bottom centre on the drawing which is the East wall toward the front of the house.
