Number Two, Going Up

This house is rapidly taking shape as a multi-floor dwelling. If you look closely along the outside wall with gravel run up against the basement, an extra set of studs have been installed to support a future garage. But for now the house will be constructed without the garage and added later should the owner decide that's what is needed. Once the standard kind of house, two story homes were to be found everywhere since they were easy to heat and used little land. The trend in the fifties to single level homes has been changing in the past five years as people once again discover the efficient use of space and the charm of a two story home.
