House number five |
|
FTLComm - Tisdale - Wednesday, July 26, 2006 |
Located just south of the Golden Age Centre this new house is rapidly taking shape. The wood basement and garage foundation were all backfilled with gravel Monday night and on Tuesday the walls began rising on the completed floor.
This is Farber Contracting's second stick built house this year and the third completely new house built in the town |

in 2006. The three other dwellings were moved onto new foundations.
It is ironic to see the new concrete driveway on the new house beside it stretching out to yet another gravel street. Pavement in Tisdale is rapidly disappearing as the rate of water line replacement leaves several blocks of unsurfaced streets each year. The former TUCs field now has no pavement on three of its four sides. |
