House twelve

FTLComm - Tisdale -Thursday, September 13, 2007

Harvest is not the only thing being held up by the unpleasant weather during the past two weeks. With this new basement opened up early this week there are now four basements with work on the footings and foundation in progress.

Five of this year's houses are in the finishing stages with all the details getting done up. Two of the new houses are completely framed with their shingles in place and windows being installed and one house, on New Market has been at a standstill for the past two weeks with a few of its rafters in place but the rain has just prevented Farbers from getting the framing closed in.

The contractors and builders seem to be trying to do their best but the weather is really not cooperating. But, one way or another this is a big year for new houses in Tisdale since all but one of the buildings are new stick built structures with only the one addition to the town being a house moved in.
