House fourteen

FTLComm - Tisdale - Wednesday, September 19, 2007

Across the street from the Co-op and less than a block from the Golden Age Centre, this is the sort of location that saves the need for a car and gasoline. Only a block from downtown and two blocks from the post office.

The older house that sat on this lot was taken down a couple of weeks ago and on Saturday (right & below) the new basement was being dug. Since then the forms have been put in place and the footings poured for the new basement.

All of the thirteen houses built or under construction this year in Tisdale have had wood basements put under them but this one (above) will have a modern foam form concrete basement. The forms and rebarb are already assembled and ready to be put in place.
