Piles and footings for house four

FTLComm - Tisdale - Wednesday, April 23, 2008

Chupa Trucking and Trenching began work on a basement for house number four (right) located next to the two new houses just west of the Maple Ridge Condo. The lot had been cleared of snow earlier but is a bit low so it was fairly damp on the surface but digging the basement was no problem. This is not a deep basement and work was accomplished quickly Monday.

On Tuesday Chupas went to work drilling pilings into the site and by late afternoon (right) it was time to start poring concrete into the holes after the rebar was put in place.

This morning with the piles completed it was time to put the forms in and that work went on for most of the working day. (below and top of page)
