It looks like the contractors working on the third house to be built in this new construction year are not going to waste any time in getting this house up. The wood basement has been completed and today the workmen are installing the main floor. The materials are piled about the site and it looked like the new owner was looking things over this morning as the steel support beams were being installed.

With contractors available a project is easier to move along as the building can be assembled and the sub-contractors can get right to work with the details like electrical, plumbing and finishing.

The sign for a condominium to have been constructed on the former primary school yard looks like it has been cancelled or delayed as the sign has been taken down and no signs of development
are in evidence. This is not a set back since there obviously was not enough demand for a project of this type. There are still lots of "house for sale" signs up but there is also a growing number of "sold" signs going onto those signs. One house in our neighbourhood had its forsale sign up for less than a week suggesting that demand remains steady.
