Old bridge removed
Traffic on highway #3 east of Tisdale is a bit delayed as there is only one way traffic on the bridge detour.
The contractor has made considerable progress having completely removed the bridge itself and they are now busy clearing up the approaches. This is a major undertaking that could not be done during the summer months because this waterway has flooded as often as five times in one summer. Each time the water is high the stress on the bridge is considerable and this one was definitely due to be replaced.
