L. A. Express Video

It was in June of 2000 that DJ's Entertainment closed up down town and since then Wicks Gas Bar has had the video rental business all to themselves. On June 19 we told you that a new video rental business was about to open and yesterday I discovered that indeed the new outlet has actually been in business now for a month. Work is not complete on the converted Taxidermis shop but the videos are on the wall and the selection is excellent. When it comes to video variety is the absolute and this set of video tape, DVDs and video games makes a contribution to that niche in Tisdale's entertainment world. One of the positive things about this new business is that video tape and DVDs are rented at par and this makes a marginal price differential with the competition. This is a tough time of the year to get a business going with so many people on holidays or at the cottage but L.A. Express Video is keeping overhead down and with modest patronage should have a fair chance. The store is located just East of the Post Office.
