| This is a rare scene to catch the folks from Chupa Trenching & Excavating sitting
down on the job and if I hadn't come along during Lunch hour I wouldn't have got
this picture. This company does basements and has stockpiles of aggregate right in
their yard ready for delivery. During the current building
drive in Tisdale they have handled seventeen basements in town and another ten
in the country while still looking after moving fill and supplying various types
of material for building projects. Several companies provide this service in Tisdale
often combined with earth moving construction companies. Collin Chupa says this has
been the best year they have had since 1986 but he says there has been a lot of slow
years in between where there have years when there has been as few as one basement
in a summer. Chupas did the work for both basements at
Dreyfus and UGG Inland terminal office buildings. |
