John Schultz retires from post office

FTLComm - Tisdale - Saturday, June 2, 2007

John Schultz was sixteen when he began work at the Tisdale Post Office, his uncle had offered him a similar paying job in Melfort but this one was at home and there were benefits. Over the years he has seen us all come and many go and the real reward of the job has been his involvement in the lives of the people with whom he works.

Friday it was open house at the post office as the community came in for coffee and cake and took time to recognise a man who has see to their needs for a total of thirty-eight years.
