Tisdale Lube Service switches from Shell to DOMO
With the Tisdale 7/11 being a Shell dealer it makes good business sense to diversify the gas sales marketplace. Both Tisdale and Melfort have a highly competitive situation with two Tempos, here a Fas Gas, Petro Canada, Co-op and Shell this move to a DOMO outlet is interesting.
Making money selling gasoline is hard to do in the volatile market place because the margins are so slim and in the major centres the oil companies themselve operate the outlets. For the independent owner its hard to multiply that narrow margin into a profittable business.
