--Merry Christmas | |
FTLComm - Winnipeg - December 25, 2000 | |
I was saddened when I heard last night that the celebrations in Bethlehem had to
be toned down considerably because of the difficulties that rage through the holy
land in this the two-thousandth year since the birth of Christ. This is a clear
example that problems in one part of the world effect us all. Perhaps we once thought
that there was a time when some problem somewhere did not affect everyone but that
definitely is no longer the case. We share this planet with over six billion people
and no one is insignificant nor can we ignore what perils people half a world away
are facing. For us in our family we are together is Christmas Day enjoying the moments, and just a moment ago a Christmas orange, there is good cheer and from all of us, may you and yours have a wonderful happy Christmas. Timothy W. Shire |

Buon Natale, a time to rejoice the ensemble of our family, a time to forget for a moment the rush of a busy life, and a time to reflect for a time where there is less time for a busy life and more time for our lives. Buon Natale to you and your families, Mario - |
