It looks like there are a few trends this year in Christmas yard and house decorations. I have noticed several with these clean, perhaps neat designs like this house on the left while the second trend is the popularity of the huge blow up ornaments, many of them being animated. We will get you some pictures of those later.

Christmas lights are tricky to photograph. I prefer this twilight situation before it is fully dark because in total darkness things are hard to sort out for focus and light levels. If you want to capture some displays be sure to turn off the flash on your camera.
