Christmas shopping in Tisdale Part IV

Not all the things you will need to fill that shopping list will be things that are pretty and meant to sit on shelves to be admired or played with but somethings will need to be practical and work/play related. Tisdale, like many other agricultural centres has its share of hard working stores. We have already visited Lamb's Hardware, who has both the Beeland Co-op Hardware store and Pro-Hardware to compete with for nuts and bolts. Co-op Hardware and Pro-Hardware will be seen in another store as they are building supply companies. One of things we all know about he hardware business is that there is considerable overlap in product lines and the range of items that can be consumer or industrial. Today we look at the industrial side with Groat's NAPA Centre and Acklands-Grainger. These are not the only two Tisdale business serving this market as many parts can be found at John Bob Farm Equipment and there are other farm and agriculture related supplies, but for today we will see these two.

NAPA - Groats Friday December 6, 2002 This is a big outlet with about equal floor space devoted to display and parts but it is definitely a place to consider when doing the "guy thing" shopping.

Acklands - Grainger Friday December 6, 2002 Like stepping into an unknown world exploring this supplier extended this reporters awareness beyond the familiar.
