Though Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Tisdale has held rummage sales in other years this is the first time they have scheduled their sale at the same time as the Anglican sale. Mrs. Wisser (right) told me that some volunteers got into the spirit of setting up things on Wednesday evening after an event in the church hall and they were ready for the sale on Thursday morning.

Projects like this have a tendency to evolve and with the good response that this sale had I can see a bright future for having two large rummage sales on the same day in the coming years. Tisdale's Christ Lutheran Church holds their sale usually the second weekend of May but unfortunately I am unable to confirm that at this moment but will update this story when I sort that out. St. Paul's United Church will hold their sale Wednesday, May 14, Thursday May 15 and Friday 16.
