An important part of a person's life is making a commitment to one's own beliefs and becoming a member of a church is a big step for an individual. In the spring we all witnessed the mass confirmation service of the region's catholic young people while Wednesday afternoon marked the first confirmation class for Tisdale’s Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Bill Cantelon works with his group through a two year experience as they approach joining the church. Below left are three second year students all in grade eight and attending their first confirmation class are the three young people (bottom right) all in grade seven.
