HP PhotoSmart 315 Suits Stu Fine

Hi Timothy,

I just read your jamcam item.

I had originally paid $400 for my Hp 315 and it is now on for $299 at a couple of places.

I also just bought the last memory card from A&B Sound for $70 dollars and have a capacity for 64 high res images ( up from 11)

As another matter of interest I purchased this camera some time ago (when was it I was speaking with you about it?) and finally had to replace the four penlight batteries a couple of days ago. I think that would be over six months.
I am interested to see if battery life will shorten powering the larger memory card.

While there is no digital or optical zoom much can be done with image editing software once the photo has been loaded into the computer.

This has been a very nice camera for me and for normal family picure taking.

I am not sure it would be adequate for action/sports enthusiasts and it is garbage for snapping night shots like fireworks as the shutter is too slow with no setting options.

Attached are a still TaeKwondo and and action shot taken in a well lit gym. The action will never freeze with this camera, but the still shots are good enough for me anyway.

I know that you have a few other examples from this camera on your site already; the most recent being my backyard bug.

It does however take indoor photos to perfection without using the flash as well as normal flash affected photos using the flash.

I guess this has been my HP 315 satisfied customer testimonial.
