Sidewalk sale day in Tisdale
|
|
FTLComm - Tisdale - Thursday, June 12, 2003 |
All over town today merchants were in the streets. The morning was exception
with the first sunlight in what seems like weeks seering the sidewalks. The clouds
built up over head and around 4:00 it was time to duck and cover as a nice shower
splashed over the town.
We had lunch at the Beeland Co-op. Coke and a 1/4 pizza for two dollars or coke
and a hamburger for two dollars. I said yes to both and smacked my lips.
The pizza was great, the soft drink cold and the hamburger done to perfection. All
that and sunlight as well, what more could a person ask for? |
