I have just retrieved through the Internet a video file from the BBC News with Greg Palast and my heart beating has increased quite a bit as I have watched and listened to the playing of this video. This video documents the historical relationships between the Bush family, the Saudi royalty and the Bin Laden family and the related connection with the Carlyle Group and oil business. This video also portrays the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) as a suspected terrorist organization headed by some members of the Bin Laden family, yet this organization has not been listed as a terrorist organization by the Bush administration. In this video, Greg Palast reports that the relationship between the Bush and the Bin Laden families could have caused the United States to turn a blind eye to terrorism as long as the United States was going to be safe from terrorism. |

I am really questioning the integrity of the North America media as this video clip has been broadcast in the United Kingdom by the non profit BBC organization while at the same time this video has not found its popularity among the North America media. I have the strong suspicion that the American media is protecting the Bush family from any embarrassment with respect to their business relationships with the Bin Laden family and the Saudi royalty. |

Recently, Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (Democrat) has made statements that President George Bush could have known of the incoming September 11 attacks and she has been calling for the need of a thorough investigation of the intelligence failures related to these attacks. Also, McKinney has questioned the integrity of the business relationships of the Bush administration with Saudi Arabia within the context of the September 11 attacks. McKinney's calling for a thorough investigation (probe) of the September 11 attacks. |

Mckinney's statements have caused an uproar among pundits and politicians and she has been vilified. Sen. Zell Miller has condemned McKinney's statements as |
"very dangerous and irresponsible" |
|
and syndicated columnist Jonah Goldberg has portrayed her as a hypocrite and
"dumber than rock salt and more repugnant than Yasser Arafat's 3-week-old underwear." |
|
The New York Post had depicted her as "Spacewoman McKinney," and her hometown newspaper, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, called her probe idea "nutty," and White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer has commented
"All I can tell you is the congresswoman must be running for the hall of fame of the Grassy Knoll Society." |

It is interesting to notice that in an on-line poll conducted by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, nearly one-half of those responding agreed with McKinney's call for a thorough investigation. Further, in another on line poll conducted by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and designed to ridicule McKinney's statements, one half of the respondents agreed that George Bush had prior knowledge of the September 11 attacks. On the other hand, President Bush wants to restrict and maintain the secrecy of the probes of September 11 attacks, while Vice-President Cheney has stated that |
"a review of what happened on September 11 would take resources and personnel away from the effort in the war on terrorism." |
|
Senate Majority Leader Thomas A. Daschle has concurred with Cheney's positioning for a limited scope of the probe.

There is a lot of evidence corroborating the failures of the Bush administration in constricting the valuable ongoing work against terrorism by the FBI and the CIA. I fully agree with the need of a thorough investigation of the September 11 attacks as McKinney says |
"The world is teetering on the brink of conflicts while the Administration's policies are vague, wavering and unclear . This is a time for leadership and judgment that is not compromised in any fashion. This is a time for transparency and a thorough investigation." |
