All along as I have been writing about the painful prediciment in which we find ourselves I have been emphasizing the intelligence of applying common sense to our individual and collective relationships. However, the Bushes of this world have no interest in advancing our individual and social predicament and therefore these Bushes use their individual and social power to divide the world and further their elitist agenda.
|
|||||||
In an elitist world the wishes of the Bushes are pursued as economic policies, and the needs of people at large are marginalized.
On Sunday I learn that Vice-President Dick Cheney’s former company Halliburton has been accused with accounting fraud[2] while Cheney was CEO of the company.
Bush and company waged a war against Iraq because they wished to enrich the Bushes of this world and not because they needed to advance democracy in the Middle East[3]. The present economic globalization of this world permeates on the wishes of the Bushes of this world and not on the needs of people at large.
The pursuing of Bush’s wishes materialize in a tyrannical black and white world, the pursuing of economic needs evolve in a more democratic world. It is for this reason that I support the candidacy of John Kerry for president of the United States, and it is for this reason that many artists and intellectuals support John Kerry as well.
Let me say that the new presidential electoral issue of embracing the recommendations of the 9/11commission[4] is pure hogwash[5][6][7], just political expediency. But what is important to realize is that Bush has an intelligence deficit disorder and as a consequence he has been digging deeper social and economic deficits for all of us. Political scientist Pat Holt suggests the following rules in order to overcome Bush’s deficits[8]:
