FTLComm - Tisdale - September 22, 1999

Work began on this project Monday with the preparation of the site and this morning Chupa Excavation began boring the piling holes and a construction crew is on hand to begin work on the concrete forms and and footings.

In the picture on the right the drilling of the piling holes is taking place up against some of the trees that have been retained on the site and as you can see the area has had the surface material and other fill removed from the site for construction to take place.

The construction crew have a work shed in place and this picture was taken just as their work day was beginning. Materials and supplies will appear on the site as work progresses. It is interesting to watch a project like this one take shape and as building proceeds we will keep you up dated with pictures from the site showing the new structure taking place.

Tisdale Funeral Home is a new operation in Tisdale but
is not a new business as the company was formerly located in Porcupine Plain and is presently conducting business from their location across from St. Paul's United Church.
This picture views the work site from the West as ideal working conditions prevail this morning. Below is a look at the site from the South.
