Bee gone
Tisdale - Thursday, May 23, 2013

At the top of this page you can see the scene at 8:21 AM on Friday, May 17, 2013 as the town crew have lifted the “Bee” from atop its Tisdale perch as they ready it for transport. The tourist booth was scooped up and hauled over to the Tisdale Museum yard in the fall and as the snow receded the mini golf was moved and the camp kitchen moved away. The camp kitchen is sitting with the Bee (below) over at the entrance to the McKay Kinsmen Park across from the gravel area that will be serving as Tisdale’s campground for this year.

The pair of trout ponds have been beautifully landscaped adjacent to highway #3. This looks like a very nice development and certainly enhances this green portion of the community. It appears that the planning has taking into consideration the regular flooding of the area and built things to endure that indignity.
