New manhole for 7-11

FTLComm - Tisdale - Friday, March 21, 2003
Tisdale's 7-11 had its sewer back up resulting in the Town of Tisdale public works department swinging in to action this morning to provide the busy operation with a new manhole at the sewer line to make it possible to clear the plugged line.

This 7-11 is rated as the busiest 7-11 in Saskatchewan. Position at the intersection of highways 35 and 3 the outlet has costomers coming and going twenty-four hours a day.

This morning just after nine the town crew had clawed their way down through eight feet of frozen clay as they probed for the buried line. Two pickup trucks pulled in with trailers loaded with snow mobiles. With winter and its snow disappearing quickly it looks like these folks were on their way to a competition of some kind with two of their machine brightly painted in competition colours.
