Tory Leader MacKay is being disingenuous in urging Alliance members

"not to join the Tory party in order to vote twice in order to try to get a pro-merger result." (1)
when he knows thousands have already done so.

How many must join before he alters his view that

"he has seen no evidence of "swamping" so far"? (2)

Probably only when he is certain a positive vote to merge the party he was elected to lead into the Conservative/Alliance is assured.
