Looks like winter to me

FTLComm -Tisdale - Tuesday, October 22, 2002
It is rare for the initial snowfall to stay and this year with the predictions all indicating that a long and drawn out fall similar to last year should be expected. However, the frost this morning covered the trees and the temperature day after day refuses to get above the freezing marks so that the snow that fell last Monday is still laying about.

There is nothing whatever that can be done we are at the mercy of the weather and perhaps that's a good thing given the way we have of messing things up. Imagine giving control of the weather to parliament or the United Nations then have the US president tell all that it is a weapon of mass destruction and therefore he and his government must control it, the mind boggles.
