Relay for life , Hamburgers - Lamb's Hardware

FTLComm - Tisdale - Saturday, May 24, 2003

The "Relay for Life" project this year has seen outstanding participation by both the community as a whole but also by the community's merchants.

This morning at 9:30 the folks at Lamb's Hardware were busy setting up for their part in this year's fund raiser as they sold hot dogs and hamburgers with all the proceeds going to the Cancer fund.

At 11:40 there was a steady line up as it to two people cooking and two looking after the customers.

I had a hamburger and it was absolutely fabulous with onions and thick cheese.

It makes a person proud to live in a community were everyone can get behind a cause and do their part. The low key no-nonsense approach to community responsibility is a feather of Tisdale.
