Relay for Life, 2009

FTLComm - Tisdale - Wednesday, June 3, 2009

There is no doubt that the Relay for Life held on rotation in one of the communities in this part of Saskatchewan is far more than just a fund raising project.  It is certainly that but it is also a celebration of life itself as those who have and are, surviving this killer disease put on yellow shirts and recognise in themselves the powerful need that we must all support to attack and eventually overcome the scourge of Cancer.

The Parkland Photography Club was on hand for the start of this year's event on the Brownbridge field on the East side of Tisdale's RECPlex complex on Friday afternoon and the three photographers, Anne McIntosh, Darlene McCullough and Alan Cathcart, recorded what they saw up until very late at night. You can see the 120 pictures that they gather by clicking here to visit the club's website and view this remarkable album.
