The Tisdale Centennial Celebration Committee has assembed a rough outline of their plans for the event scheduled
for July 29 to August 1, 2005. The plans they have worked out are on their web page and the link from Tisdale's
home page will soon be working so you can access this site.
As we move closer to the time these plans and details will be updated and expanded
but for now here is the way things are intended to go:
- Friday:
- 5:00 - 10:00 registration at the RECPlex
7:30 - 11:00 Street dance downtown
- Saturday:
- Registration
10:00 parade
10:00 - 4:00 art display
2:00 - 4:00 Entertainment, Town square, kids corner, Civic Centre
RECPlex tours
6:00 banquet, Arena
Dance, Arena
- Sunday:
- 10:30 Interdenominational church service Town Square
or auditorium
Brunch town square
2:00 - 4:00 Heritage fashion show, town square
4:00 closing ceremonies.
Registration forms will eventually be online from
the web site but if you
want get involved and let folks know you are planning
to come we will start a list that you can access from the front page of Ensign
with linking e-mail addresses so you can get in tough with long lost old friends
who are scattered around the globe. You would be surprised to discover how many of
them keep in touch with Tisdale through this web site.
