Wheatland Good Sam annual meeting

Sunday, October 20, 2013, the Wheatland Chapter of Good Sams club met for their annual meeting at Mr. Ribs in Tisdale. The club includes members from Melfort, Choiceland, St. Brieux, Weekes, Mistatim, Hudson Bay, Nipawin, Humboldt, Beatty, Carrot River and Tisdale with thirty-three in attendance at the meeting. The meeting was chaired by club president Gary Grisdale.
The material used to make the member’s vests is no longer available and a discussion took place about replacement and additional vests in the future.
Birthdays and anniversaries were celebrated and the activities of the provincial organisation reported with a schedule for next summer’s campouts handed out.
After supper the group posed for the group picture above and had an opportunity to look over the history book prepared and maintained by Norma Seabrook which documents the activities of the club over its nearly twenty years.
