Tisdale and area Superannuates;
September outing - Hidden Meadows

Tisdale, Monday, September 21, 2009 by: Darlene McCullough

Tisdale Chapter of Superannuated Teachers travelled to Hidden Meadows Golf Course Restaurant near Kipabiskau Regional Park for their September meeting. Fifteen people sat down to a delicious roast beef dinner. After the meal, they met on the deck to enjoy the sunshine and have a brief business meeting.

President Maureen Donald welcomed the members. She reported that Bill Barry had contacted her to report some errors in the school history book that the chapter had compiled and printed.

Maureen will pass the obituary for Ulysse Leger to the archives.

Maureen had seven students stay at her house for The Student Leadership Conference and they reported that they had enjoyed it as there were a lot of varied session for them to attend.

The October Meeting will be a pot luck lunch held at noon on October 19 in the Anglican Church Hall with our guest speaker, the provincial STS Vice-President, Margaret Martin of Saskatoon. Red Deer River Valley Chapter and Nipawin Chapter members have been invited to attend this meeting.

Darlene McCullough read a humorous report on the messages on a school answering machine.
