Terry Fox Run Tisdale Elementary School

The Community Terry Fox run gets underway Sunday afternoon at 2:00 but the students at Tisdale Elementary School got a head start this afternoon as the whole population marched around Caribou Crescent for several laps. The cloud and showers from this morning had passed and the sky was filled with glamourous fluffy cumulus almost cheering as the students of all ages and their teachers made their pillrimage round and round the crescent.

If you ever question the importance of what a single individual does and if it really matters or not, just think of what Terry Fox did. His action and determination to do his part in making advances against a killer disease continues on year after year, so long after it took his life.
