Re-doing a front yard

FTLComm - Tisdale - Monday, September 16, 2002
Over a year ago the settling caused by the shrinking of the ultra dry clay (drought related) caused the heavy front step on this house to begin to do damage to the structure so the front step was removed.

Early this summer the owner installed the outstanding
brick face on the house really improving its appearance.

Now the process of improvement moves forward. Mr. Tree was brought in to remove the existing lawn and dig the area around the area of the front step down. Under lay gravel was packed in place then the skilled bricklayers with Mr. Tree did a walk and front area to perfection.

The lawn was given some contour, some big rocks installed and underground sprinkler system installed for the plants and shrubs that will soon find a home in this front yard.

The pictures above were done on Friday and the one below as the project looked at 9:00 this morning.
