A visit to Saskatoon's Forest Farm

Saskatoon - Tuesday, December 31, 2002 by Kevin and Sandra McIntyre

In Saskatoon at the Forestry Farm over the Christmas Holidays they have the Enchanted Forest light display. Open until January 5th, from 5 to 10 PM with a $4 per head cover charge you drive through their display. Listed as the largest outdoor display in Canada with 1.4 million bulbs and 7 kilometers of rope light, it is a show not to be missed. Funds raised go to Saskatoon City Hospital and the Saskatoon Forestry Farm [aka, the Saskatoon zoo].

Using our Kodak DC3400 digital camera we tried our first night shots. Some good, others not so good. It was snowing that night and the falling flakes turned up with prominence.
