Webcam and weather station

During this past year the parts have been assembled camera by camera and computer monitoring system, a digital weather station and links to pass the collected information to the world at large.
Kevin McIntyre's webcam works twenty-four hours a day as his four cameras are almost a decade newer than the antique system we use with Ensign and during the dark hours of the day the cameras see infrared light.
His fully automated weather station is a little upscale from what we see in most hardware stores and has the ability to pass on its collected data to his web page and to the Underground Weather Network. In addition to his own weather station he has present weather maps and radar for this part of the world. (By the way, Kevin's weather data is not available if you are viewing his page from your iPad as it is displayed using "Flash".)
On February 6, Kevin and his wife drove into Nipawin and here is what he had to say about his impressions that day: "A bit of snow on the highway and Nipawin flies as many Ammerican flags as Canadianones. But..., a huge number of American tourists in the area all year round, so I guess we have to say we love them [almost] as much as their money."
Many Saskatchewan communities have seen new Co-op stores built in their towns. Nipawin is one of the towns to have the new design type of store. Similar ones have been built in La Ronge and Canora.
