Czech Speedway Driver Awakes From Crash Speaking Perfect English

18-year-old Matej Kus from the Czech Republic has come to speaking perfect English after being knocked unconscious in a speedway accident in Glasgow. Kus had spun out of control into the path of another driver.

"It was in a really clear English accent... he didn't even know that he was Czech. Before his crash, his use of the English language was broken, to put it mildly. I'm not a doctor but even I can tell you that it's not normal," said the team promoter.

There have only a few cases of xenoglossy, the ability to speak a language you have never learned, recorded. As a result there is very little scientific research into the condition.
