Premature arrival of fall
No one is really surprised at the arrival of discoloured leaves throughout town nor to the coloured leaves that are starting to pepper our lawns. Harvest is definitely a bit on the early side this year and we have had some chills close to freezing so it is completely appropriate for some trees to decide that the time for green is over.
These pictures were taken this afternoon and there are sprinkles of colour all over the town's trees.
