Louis Dreyfus moves the wheat

FTLComm - Tisdale - Thursday, March 5, 2009

Last year the pile was barley but this year it is high quality wheat and the Louis Dreyfus Tisdale Terminal is cleaning it up. This is quite a bit earlier than other years to move the pile over to the main terminal. By the look of the long row of cars parked by the terminal there is a good chance the pile is being processed and shipped onto the cars for delivery to market.

It was snowing pretty hard at 3:30 this afternoon when these pictures were taken. From the look of these pictures it would appear that almost one quarter of the pile has been moved this week.
