FTLComm - Tisdale - September 11, 1998
Wednesday afternoon it was sweltering hot with record breaking temperatures all around the province but Thursday morning the sky was overcast and this little collection was what greeted us. The warm winter had the poor ole' trees budding out and getting ready to go several times so that when it was time for the leaves to show up and turn green they pouted a bit and it seemed later then usual before the country side achieved its summer colour. But almost over night the coloured leaf conspiracy has taken over and all around town the yellow is now the seasonal colour. For some weeks the trees have been showing a good deal of stress from our recent late summer drought and leaves in the area have been turning a dull brown. Before you know it we are going to be looking at nude trees once again.
